BAR CONNECT About Membership in the Bar Connect™ program includes access the DSBA Distinguished Speakers Panel, an organization of highly respected individuals from the legal community who have made themselves available to speak on behalf of bar associations and other legal organizations to their members. The program grants bar associations' unprecedented access to lawyers and judges through the use of videoconferencing equipment. Once bar associations join Bar Connect, the bars will add value to their member benefits offerings through this access as well as make it easier for the bars themselves to schedule these high-profile individuals that might otherwise be too busy. How to Join The primary requirements for bar associations are that they own a videoconferencing unit of their own and maintain membership in Bar Connect. If your organization does not own a unit, you have the option of purchasing one from Courtroom Connect. If your bar already has a videoconferencing unit not purchased from Courtroom Connect, then all you have to do is pay the quarterly membership fee to join Bar Connect, the benefits of which also includes technical support.
